BRABOY BREAKS 400M PROGRAM RECORD
AS RIC COMPETES AT NORTHEASTERNíS
HUSKY INVITATIONAL

Dedham, Mass.-Freshman Daria Braboy (Providence, RI) broke the program record in the 400m (57.02) with a first place finish as the Rhode Island College womenís outdoor track and field team competed at the Bernard Solomon Husky Invitational, hosted by Northeastern University on Saturday afternoon. It was an individual meet with no team scoring.

Braboy also placed second in the triple jump (10.85m). Freshman Chelsea Key (Putnam, CT) placed sixth in the long jump (4.83m). Freshman Samantha Plante (Woonsocket, RI) finished seventh in the triple jump (9.79m).

 

In upcoming action, RIC will compete at the Silfen Invitational, hosted by Connecticut College on Saturday, April 21 (10 a.m.).
