BRABOY & CATALDO BREAK PROGRAM
RECORDS AT WESLEYAN INVITATIONAL

Middletown, Conn.-Freshman Daria Braboy (Providence, RI) established a new program record in the 60m, while freshman Kayla Cataldo (Ronkonkoma, NY) tied the school pole vault mark, as the Rhode Island College women's indoor track & field team competed at the Wesleyan Invitational on Saturday afternoon. It was an individual meet with no team scoring.

 

Braboy placed fourth in the 60m (8.15), second in the 400m (59.63) and first in the triple jump (10.85m). Cataldo placed fifth in the pole vault (3.05m) and 11th in the 600m (1:49.55).

 

Freshman Kadijah Johnson (Central Falls, RI) placed first in the weight throw (14.77m) and 13th in the shot (9.27m).

 

Sophomore Natasha Miller (Wakefield, RI) placed seventh in the 200m (27.89).

 

The 4x400m relay team comprised of Cataldo, Miller, Braboy and freshman Chelsea Key (Putnam, CT) placed third (4:14.69).

 

In upcoming action, Rhode Island College will compete at the Boston University Invitational on Friday, Jan. 27.
