ANCHORWOMEN DROP TWO IN TRI-MATCH AT BROWN
Chrane Posts Highest Score With 11th Place Finish on Floor

Providence, R.I.-Senior captain Sarah Chrane (Rochester, NH) registered the Anchorwomen's top score on the day with an 11th-place, 9.250 result on floor as the Rhode Island College women's gymnastics team lost to Bridgeport, 191.800-169.250, and host Brown, 187.425-169.250, on Sunday afternoon.

 

Freshman Cory Bridges (Foxboro, MA) placed third in the all-around (34.475) with scores of 9.125 on vault, 9.000 on bars, 7.900 on beam and 8.450 on floor. Senior captain Kate Bachelder (Portsmouth, NH) placed fourth in the all-around (33.775) with scores of 8.800 on vault, 8.050 on bars, 8.525 on beam and 8.400 on floor.

 

Bridges was 14th on the vault and ninth on bars.

In upcoming action, Rhode Island College will compete at Ithaca along with Springfield on Saturday, Jan. 28 (3 p.m.).
