BRABOY EARNS ALL-NEW ENGLAND
HONORS IN THE 400 METERS

Northampton, Mass.- Freshman Daria Braboy (Providence, RI) earned All-New England honors in the 400m with a fourth place finish and a time of 58.65 at the 2012 New England Div. III Womenís Track & Field Championships hosted by Smith College on Saturday afternoon.

 

The Anchorwomen finished tied for 18th (22 teams) with a score of 5.0. Williams won the title with a score of 143.0.

 

Aside from her stellar performance in the 400m, Braboy finished 11th in the 200m (26.67) and 13th in the triple jump (10.66m).

Braboy was also a part of the 4x400m relay team that took 11th place (4:09.18), along with freshman Kayla Cataldo (Ronkonkoma, NY), sophomore Natasha Miller (Wakefield,RI) and freshman Chelsea Key (Putnam, CT).

 

Freshman Kadijah Johnson (Central Falls, RI) finished 18th in the preliminaries  of the 60m (8.20).

 

In upcoming action, select members of the team will compete at the 2012 New England Open Championships, hosted by Boston University on Friday and Saturday, February 24-25.
