BRABOY BREAKS 400M RECORD &
EARNS ALL-ECAC HONORS

New York-N.Y.-Rhode Island College freshman Daria Braboy (Providence, RI) broke her program record and earned All-ECAC honors in the 400m with a fourth place finish (57.36) as the Anchorwomen competed in the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Div. III Championships held at the New Balance Armory Track and Field Center on Friday and Saturday, March 2-3.

 

RIC finished in a tie for 37th with a team score of 5.0. MIT won the meet with a score of 56.33.

 

Braboy also finished 21st in the triple jump (10.46m) and was a member of the 4x400m relay team, along with freshman Chelsea Key (Putnam, CT), sophomore Natasha Miller (Wakefield, RI) and freshman Kayla Cataldo (Ronkonkoma, NY), which placed 16th with a time of 4:04.86.

Freshman Kadijah Johnson (Central Falls, RI) placed 11th in the weight throw (15.05m).

 

The meet concludes the indoor season for the Anchorwomen. RIC will begin outdoor competition at the Coast Guard Invitational on Saturday, March 31.
