ANCHORWOMEN PLACE 10th AT
WESLEYAN INVITATIONAL

Middletown, Conn.- Freshman Jaimee Dorsey (East Greenwich, RI) finished 16th out of 132 runners with a time of 20:08.00 to lead the Rhode Island College women’s cross country team to a 10th place finish (11 teams) at the Wesleyan Invitational on Saturday afternoon.

 

The Anchorwomen totaled a score of 265, while Wesleyan won the meet with a score of 49. 

 

 

 Freshman Rebecca Tellier

 

Freshman Rebecca Tellier (Smithfield, RI) posted a time of 21:15.80 to finish 52nd, while junior Jessica Graham (Wakefield, RI) recorded a time of 26:49.80 to finish 125th.

 

Freshman Florraine Lapotry (Cumberland, RI) finished 128th with a time of 27:17.60, while senior Ally Bejma (Pawtucket, RI) registered a time of 28:32.00 to finish 131st.

 

In upcoming action, Rhode Island College will compete in the Pop Crowell Invitational hosted by Gordon College on Saturday, Sept. 29 (10:45 a.m.).
