DORSEY LEADS ANCHORWOMEN TO 18th PLACE FINISH AT POP CROWELL INVITATIONAL

Wenham, Mass.-Freshman Jaimee Dorsey (East Greenwich, RI) finished 20th (317 runners) with a time of 19:31.10 to lead the Rhode Island College women’s cross country team to a 18th place finish (27 teams) at the Pop Crowell Invitational hosted by Gordon College on Saturday afternoon.

 

The Anchorwomen totaled a score of 512, while Wellesley won the meet with a score of 51. 

 

Freshman Rebecca Tellier (Smithfield, RI) posted a time of 20:03.50 to finish 38th, while junior Jessica Graham (Wakefield, RI) recorded a time of 23:46.30 to finish 228th.

Freshman Florraine Lapotry (Cumberland, RI) finished 268th with a time of 25:11.60, while senior Ally Bejma (Pawtucket, RI) registered a time of 25:34.90 to finish 274th. Freshman Nicole Gracie (West Warwick, RI) rounded out the Anchorwomen runners with a time of 26:41.00 to finish 294th.

 

In upcoming action, Rhode Island College will compete at the James Earley Invitational, hosted by Westfield State on Saturday, Oct. 6 (11 a.m.).
