ANCHORMEN FINISH 16th AT
JAMES EARLEY INVITATIONAL

Westfield, Mass.- Senior Conor McCloskey (Wakefield, RI) finished 10th (429 runners) with a time of 26:29.45 to guide the Rhode Island College menís cross country team to a 16th place finish (40 teams) at the James Earley Invitational hosted by Westfield State on Saturday afternoon.

 

The Anchormen totaled a score of 507, while Middlebury College won the meet with a score of 23.

 

Senior Shawn Stadnick (Wakefield, RI) recorded a time of 28:37.92 to finish 103rd, while junior Cameron Richer (Woonsocket, RI) placed 152nd with a time of 29:28.90.

Senior Austin Pena (Warwick, RI) finished 187th with a time of 29:58.94, while freshman Kenny Bouchey (Cornish, ME) registered a time of 30:26.37 to finish 216th.

 

Freshman Brandon Paulino (Bristol, RI) followed with a time of 31:02.53 to finish 252nd, while junior Tom DeCristofaro (Smithfield, RI) rounded out the Anchormen runners with a 272nd place finish and a time of 31:26.73.

 

In upcoming action, Rhode Island College will compete in the Western New England Invitational on Saturday, Oct. 13 (11 a.m.).
