DORSEY LEADS THE WAY AS ANCHORWOMEN COMPETE AT JAMES EARLEY INVITATIONAL

Westfield, Mass.-Freshman Jaimee Dorsey (East Greenwich, RI) finished 33rd (453 runners) with a time of 23:41.91 to lead the Rhode Island College women’s cross country team to a 31st place finish (43 teams) at the James Earley Invitational hosted by Westfield State on Saturday afternoon.

 

The Anchorwomen totaled a score of 841, while Middlebury College won the meet with a score of 28. 

 

Freshman Rebecca Tellier (Smithfield, RI) registered a time of 25:30.23 to finish 121st, while junior Jessica Graham (Wakefield, RI) recorded a time of 31:00.70 to finish 366th.

Senior Ally Bejma (Pawtucket, RI) posted a time of 31:25.15 to finish 373rd, while freshman Florraine Lapotry (Cumberland, RI) finished 381st with a time of 31:53.82.

 

Freshman Nicole Gracie (West Warwick, RI) rounded out the Anchorwomen runners with a time of 33:42.26 to finish 409th.

 

In upcoming action, Rhode Island College will compete in the Western New England Invitational on Saturday, Oct. 13 (10:30 a.m.).
