ANCHORMEN CLOSE OUT 2012 SEASON
AT N.E. CHAMPIONSHIPS

Westfield, Mass.-Senior Conor McCloskey (Wakefield, RI) placed 64th (26:20.35) in a field of 351 runners as Rhode Island College closed out the 2012 season by placing 24th (51 teams) at the 2012 New England Div. III Menís Cross Country Championships, hosted by Westfield State on Saturday afternoon.

 

The Anchormen totaled a score of 721. Middlebury won the championship with a score of 91.

 

 

 Senior Conor McCloskey at the N.E. Championships

 

Senior Shawn Stadnick (Wakefield, RI) placed 102nd overall (27:04.63), while junior Cameron Richer (Woonsocket, RI) finished 166th (28:07.23).

 

Senior Austin Pena (Warwick, RI) finished 176th (28:18.62). Junior Tom DeCristofaro (Smithfield, RI) placed 220th (29:24.49).

 

Freshman Brandon Paulino (Bristol, RI) placed 227th (29:36.51), while classmate Kenny Bouchey (Cornish, ME) finished 244th (30:04.99).

 

In upcoming action, Rhode Island College will compete at the 2012 ECAC Div. III Championships, hosted by Williams on Saturday, Nov. 3 (11 a.m.).
