MIDDLEBURY’S WILLIAM PRINCE LEADS THE WAY
FOR THE PANTHERS AT RIC SPRING INVITATIONAL

Providence, R.I.-Middlebury College senior William Prince (New Canaan, CT) shot a 75 (+3) to lead the field after the first day of the RIC Spring Invitational, played at Triggs Memorial Golf Course on Friday.

 

Prince was joined by two of his Middlebury teammates in the top five, as junior Rob Donahoe (Canton, MA) fired a 76 (+4), while junior Max Alley (Albany, NY) posted a 77 (+5). Husson University junior Bill Hutchins (Hampden, ME) finished with a 77 (+5) to tie for third place with Alley.

Rhode Island College sophomore Patrick Ford (Halifax, MA) registered a 78 (+6) to join Endicott senior Jackson Wyman (South Freeport, ME) and UMass Dartmouth juniors Brendan Kelleher (Hopedale, MA) and Brandon Oldham (Mattapoisett, MA) in a tie for fifth place on the day.

 

Rhode Island College junior Tim Leigh (Somerset, MA) shot an 80 (+8) and stands in a tie for 12th place, while freshman Jonathan Cooper (Berkley, MA) recorded an 81 (+9) to tie for 15th place. Senior Kyle Harper (Rehoboth, MA) and sophomore Ryan Butler (Windham, NH) each fired an 83 (+11) to finish in a tie for 24th place.
