DORSEY BREAKS 400M RECORD AS ANCHORWOMEN COMPETE AT BROWN INVITATIONAL

Providence, R.I.-Freshman Jaimee Dorsey (East Greenwich, RI) placed first overall in the 400m with a new program record time of 54.95 as the Rhode Island College women's outdoor track and field team competed at the 2013 Brown Invitational on Saturday afternoon. It was an individual meet with no team scoring.

 

Dorsey also placed 25th in the 800m (2:21.09).

 

Sophomore Daria Braboy (Providence, RI) placed fourth in the triple jump (11.03m), fourth in the 400m (56.94) and 10th in the 200m (26.42).

 

Freshman Autumn Wosencroft (Newport, RI) placed third in the long jump (5.26m), eighth in the 200m (26.27) and 14th in the 400m (59.75).

 

In upcoming action, Rhode Island College will compete at the Silfen Invitational, hosted by Connecticut College on Saturday, April 20.
