STACY POKORA & MARISA JANDREAU
EARN ALL-LITTLE EAST HONORS

Providence, R.I.-The Little East Conference honored Rhode Island College junior center fielder Stacy Pokora (Wilton, CT) and senior second baseman Marisa Jandreau (Plainville, CT) for their respective performances in softball this season.

 

Pokora was named First Team All-Little East for the second consecutive year. She played in 46 games, starting all of them. Pokora batted .425 (54-for-127) with 35 runs scored, 54 hits, 11 doubles, two triples, eight home runs, 29 RBI and eight stolen bases. She owned a .732 slugging percentage, a .490 on-base percentage and a .894 fielding percentage.

Jandreau was named Second Team All-Little East for the third time in her career. She played in 46 games, starting all of them. Jandreau batted .351 (52-for-148) with 31 runs scored, 52 hits, nine doubles, two triples, one home run, 17 RBI and eight stolen bases. She owned a .459 slugging percentage, a .407 on-base percentage and a .947 fielding percentage.

Head Coach Nicole Riley’s team finished the season with a 23-23 overall record and an 8-6 (third place tie) in the Little East. The Anchorwomen lost, 1-0, to Western Connecticut in the Championship Game of the Little East Tournament.
