4X400M RELAY RECORD FALLS AT
NEW ENGLAND OPEN CHAMPIONSHIPS

Jaimee Dorsey Wins 400m

North Easton, Mass.-Rhode Island College freshman Jaimee Dorsey (East Greenwich, RI), freshman Autumn Wosencroft (Newport, RI), junior Natasha Miller (Wakefield, RI) and sophomore Daria Braboy (Providence, RI) placed third in the 4x400m relay with a new program record (3:49.52) as Rhode Island College placed 18th (35 teams) at the 2013 New England Open Championships on May 10-11.

 

The Anchorwomen totaled a team score of 16.0. The University of Rhode Island won the title with a score of 91.50.

 

Dorsey won the 400m event, placing first with a time of 55.08.

Sophomore Daria Braboy (Providence, RI) placed 13th in the 400m (56.80).

 

In upcoming action, Rhode Island College will compete at the 2013 Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Div. III Championships, hosted by Springfield on Thursday and Friday, May 16-17.
