RHODE ISLAND COLLEGE SENDS SIX TO
NCAA DIV. III TRACK & FIELD CHAMPIONSHIPS

Providence, R.I.-Rhode Island College will send two men and four women to compete at the 2013 NCAA Div. III Men's & Women's Outdoor Track & Field Championships. The championships will be held at Roger Harring Stadium at Veterans Memorial Field in La Crosse, Wisconsin, May 23-25, with University of Wisconsin, La Crosse serving as host.

 

On the women's side, the quartet of freshman Jaimee Dorsey (East Greenwich, RI), freshman Autumn Wosencroft (Newport, RI), junior Natasha Miller (Wakefield, RI) and sophomore Daria Braboy (Providence, RI) will compete in the 4x400m relay.

 

In addition, Dorsey and Braboy will compete as individuals in the 400m. The four women all competed at the 2013 NCAA Div. III Women's Indoor Track & Field Championships in the same events, with Dorsey earning All-American honors with a fourth place finish.

 

On the men's side, sophomore Jarell Forbes (Providence, RI) will compete in the 400m hurdles, while senior Shawn Stadnick (Wakefield, RI) will see action in the 800m. Both student-athletes are making their first appearances at the NCAA Championships.
