WOMEN'S 4x400M RELAY & JARELL FORBES
BEGIN COMPETITION AT 2013
NCAA DIV. III TRACK & FIELD CHAMPIONSHIPS

La Crosse, Wisc.-Sophomore Jarell Forbes (Providence, RI) ran in the 400m hurdles, while the Rhode Island College women's 4x400m relay team also saw action, on the opening  day of competition at the 2013 NCAA Div. III Men's & Women's Outdoor Track & Field Championships on Thursday. The championships are being held at Roger Harring Stadium at Veterans Memorial Field in La Crosse, Wisconsin, May 23-25, with University of Wisconsin, La Crosse serving as host.

 

Forbes placed 17th in the 400m hurdles with a time of 54.44.

On the women's side, the quartet of freshman Jaimee Dorsey (East Greenwich, RI), freshman Autumn Wosencroft (Newport, RI), junior Natasha Miller (Wakefield, RI) and sophomore Daria Braboy (Providence, RI) placed 11th in the 4x400m relay with a time of 3:50.97 .

 

On Friday, Dorsey and Braboy will compete as individuals in the 400m, which is slated to begin at 5:50 p.m. 

 

Senior Shawn Stadnick (Wakefield, RI) will see action in the 800m at 7;25 p.m.
