DORSEY & STADNICK WRAP UP RIC ACTION
AT NCAA TRACK & FIELD CHAMPIONSHIPS

La Crosse, Wisc.-Freshman Jaimee Dorsey (East Greenwich, RI) competed in the 400m, while senior Shawn Stadnick (Wakefield, RI) saw action in the 800m, as Rhode Island College wrapped up competition at the 2013 NCAA Div. III Men's & Women's Outdoor Track & Field Championships on Friday. The championships are being held at Roger Harring Stadium at Veterans Memorial Field in La Crosse, Wisconsin, May 23-25, with University of Wisconsin, La Crosse serving as host.

 

The Anchormen and Anchorwomen did not have any competitors reach the finals, which are being held on Saturday.

 

Dorsey placed 10th in the 400m with a time of 56.34. Stadnick placed 19th in the 800m with a time of 1:55.43.

Yesterday, sophomore Jarell Forbes (Providence, RI) placed 17th in the 400m hurdles with a time of 54.44.

 

On the women's side, the quartet of Dorsey, freshman Autumn Wosencroft (Newport, RI), junior Natasha Miller (Wakefield, RI) and sophomore Daria Braboy (Providence, RI) placed 11th in the 4x400m relay with a time of 3:50.97.
