DORSEY HELPS ESTABLISH TWO NEW
PROGRAM RECORDS AS ANCHORWOMEN
COMPETE AT BOSTON UNIVERSITY INVITATIONAL

Boston, Mass.-Led by freshman Jaimee Dorsey (East Greenwich, RI), the Rhode Island College women’s indoor track & field team broke a pair of program records as the Anchorwomen competed against primarily Div. I opponents at the Boston University Terrier Invitational on Friday night. It was an individual meet with no team scoring.

 

Dorsey broke her own program record in preliminaries of the 60m dash, finishing 31st with a time of 8.09. The freshman also finished 22nd in the 400m (57.42).

Dorsey, junior Natasha Miller (Wakefield, RI), freshman Autumn Wosencroft (Newport, RI) and sophomore Daria Braboy (Providence, RI) broke the program record in the 4x400m relay with a 16th place finish and a time of 3:58.21.

 

Miller also finished 106th in the 200m (27.51), while Wosencroft placed 22nd in the long jump (4.85m), 26th in the triple jump (10.12m) and 61st in the 200m (26.51).

 

Braboy placed 18th in the triple jump (10.56m), 26th in the 400m (57.70), and 45th in the 60m preliminaries (8.24).

 

In upcoming action, Rhode Island College will compete at the Tufts Invitational on Friday and Saturday, Feb. 1-2.
