PAULINO LEADS ANCHORMEN TO SIXTH
PLACE FINISH AT ELMS INVITATIONAL

Chicopee, Mass.-Sophomore Brandon Paulino (Bristol, RI) finished 21st (91 runners) with a time of 29:27 to pace the Rhode Island College menís cross country team at the Elms College Invitational on Saturday.

 

The Anchormen finished sixth (18 teams) after registering a score of 169. The University of New England won the meet with a score of 36.

Freshman Justin Lucier (Attleboro, MA) came in 29th with a time of 30:00 to finish just behind Paulino, while senior Tom DeCristofaro (Smithfield, RI) recorded a 32nd place finish with a time of 30:18.

 

Senior Cameron Richer (Woonsocket, RI) finished 36th with a time of 30:38, while junior Nicholas Longolucco (Bradford, RI) posted a 71st place finish after chalking up a time of 36:02.

 

In upcoming action, Rhode Island College will compete at the Westfield Invitational on Saturday, October 12.
