RHODE ISLAND COLLEGE PLACES 16
ON 2013 FALL ACADEMIC TEAM

Providence, R.I.-The Little East Conference office recently announced the honorees for the 2013 Fall All-Academic teams and 16 Rhode Island College student-athletes were selected.

 

Student-athletes earned recognition on the all-academic teams based on the following criteria: at least a sophomore in academic and athletic standing and a minimum cumulative grade point average of a 3.3. The conference office honored student-athletes in the following sports: menís and womenís cross country, menís and womenís soccer, womenís tennis and volleyball.

 

The following student-athletes were recognized:

 

MENíS CROSS COUNTRY: Senior Cameron Richer (Woonsocket, RI) and senior Tom DeCristofaro (Smithfield, RI).

 

WOMENíS CROSS COUNTRY: Junior Jenna Pare (Tiverton, RI).

 

MENíS SOCCER: Junior Emmanuel Asiedu (Lincoln, RI), junior David Ricci (Smithfield, RI) and junior Brian Sujecki (Pawcatuck, CT).

 

WOMENíS SOCCER: Junior Audrey Maia (Norton, MA), junior Lauren Maisano (Bristol, RI), junior Sam Nolte (Cranston, RI) and junior Danielle Peloquin (Pawtucket, RI).

 

WOMENíS TENNIS: Junior Chelsea Brown (Wallingford, CT), sophomore Sadie Campanella (Chepachet, RI) and sophomore Tressa Cannata (Cranston, RI).

 

WOMEN'S VOLLEYBALL: Sophomore Michelle Malboeuf (Cumberland, RI), sophomore Lauren Palazzini (Woonsocket, RI) and sophomore Morgan Stewart (Willington, CT).
