FORBES FINISHES SEVENTH IN THE 400M HURDLES AT NCAA TRACK CHAMPIONSHIPS
Braboy Places 17th in the Triple Jump

Delaware, Ohio.-Rhode Island College junior Jarell Forbes (Providence, RI) finished seventh in the nation, en route to attaining All-American honors, with an effort of 52.81 in the final day of competition at the 2014 NCAA Div. III Men's and Women's Track and Field Championships, hosted by Ohio Wesleyan University on Saturday afternoon.

 Forbes assured himself of All-American honors with a fifth-place (52.59) effort in the preliminaries on Thursday, which secured him a berth in the finals today. Along with freshman Steven Vazquez's (Central Falls, RI) second place, All-American effort in the high jump yesterday, the Anchormen finished 32nd (82 institutions) at the NCAA Championships.

 

 

 Junior Daria Braboy

 

In addition, junior Daria Braboy (Providence, RI) finished 17th in the triple jump (11.30m) on Saturday. The women did not score as a team.
