VAZQUEZ & CUMMINS LEAD ANCHORMEN AT
JOHN THOMAS TERRIER INVITATIONAL

Boston, Mass.-Freshman Steven Vazquez (Central Falls, RI) and sophomore Edward Cummins (Lincoln, RI) each posted top 10 finishes on Saturday, as the Rhode Island College menís track and field team competed in the 2014 John Thomas Terrier Invitational, hosted by Boston University on Saturday afternoon.

 

 

 Freshman Steven Vazquez

 

Vazquez placed sixth in the high jump (2.00m), while Cummins finished eighth in the weight throw (16.91m) and 37th in the shot (12.92m).

 

 

 Sophomore Edward Cummins

 

Senior Craig Amado (Providence, RI) finished 10th in the triple jump (13.94m) and 71st in the 400m (50.60).

 

Junior Jarell Forbes (Providence, RI) finished 14th in the preliminaries of the 60m hurdles (8.43) and 52nd in the 400m (50.04).

 

Freshman Isaiah Wooden (Seekonk, MA) placed 33rd in the triple jump (11.86m).

 

In upcoming action, Rhode Island College will compete at Tufts University on Friday, Jan. 31.
