TELLIER PACES ANCHORWOMEN
AT JAMES EARLEY INVITATIONAL

Westfield, Mass.-Junior Rebecca Tellier (Smithfield, RI) finished 65th (424 runners) with a time of 20:13.82 to lead the Rhode Island College women’s cross country team to a 15th-place tie (44 teams) at the 2014 James Earley Invitational hosted by Westfield State at Stanley Park on Saturday afternoon.

 

The Anchorwomen finished with a team score of 466. Williams won the meet with a score of 59.

 

Sophomore Lauren Deguire (Blackstone, MA) finished 89th in a time of 20:43.31. Senior Jenna Pare’ (Tiverton, RI) finished 101st (20:56.00).

Sophomore Allison Lomas (Saunderstown, RI) finished 104th with a time of 20:59.54. Sophomore Jenna Capobianco (Foster, RI) finished 174th with a time of 21:59.37.

 

Sophomore Abigail Dandurand (Hope Valley, RI) placed 188th with a time of 22:08.49. Sophomore Jessica Trautman (Narragansett, RI) placed 261st with a time of 23:13.62.

 

Freshman Marisa Longolucco (Bradford, RI) placed 381st with a time of 26:24.37. Senior Julie Merlain (Providence, RI) finished 407th with a time of 28:55.61.

 

In upcoming action, Rhode Island College will compete at the Western New England Invitational on Saturday, October 18 (10:30 a.m.).
