CARNEY LEADS ANCHORMEN AS MEN'S CROSS COUNTRY WRAPS UP 2014 CAMPAIGN

Williamstown, Mass.-Freshman Jonathan Carney (Bristol, RI)  finished 197th (373 runners) with a time of 28:55.2 to lead the Rhode Island College menís cross country team to a 49th place finish (54 Teams) at the 2014 NCAA N.E. Div. III Regional Championship hosted by Williams on Saturday afternoon.

 

 The Anchormen finished with a team score of 1,452, while Colby won the meet with a score of 63.

 

 

 Freshman Jonathan Carney

 

Freshman Jack Carroll (Cumberland, RI) posted a time of 29:29.0 for a 228th place finish, while senior Brian Quigley (Providence, RI) came in 347th with a time of 33:20.8.

 

Senior Craig Amado (Providence, RI) finished 351st with a time of 33:43.9, while classmate Nicholas Longolucco (Bradford, RI) finished 359th with a time of 35:05.5.

 

Freshman Steven Perez (Providence, RI) finished 361st in a time of 35:21.7.
