Nine goals is the closest the Anchorwomen would come in the second half on a goal by senior attacker Danielle Landon (Wading River, NY) off a Ricci feed with 19:02 left in the game to make the score, 13-4. Sweet Briar outscored RIC, 5-3, over the remainder of the half to take the victory.

RIC freshman goalkeeper Alasondra Apici (Providence, RI) (0-1) recorded 12 saves in the loss, while SBC sophomore Emily Williams (Zionsville, IN) (1-2) made two saves in the victory.

In upcoming action, Rhode Island College will face Washington College on Wednesday, March 11 (4 p.m.).
