COOPER & ANCHORMEN TIE FOR NINTH AT WILDCAT SPRING INVITATIONAL

Cranston, R.I.-Junior Jonathan Cooper (Berkley, MA) finished in a tie for ninth place as the Rhode Island College menís golf team competed at the 2015 Wildcat Spring Invitational, hosted by Johnson & Wales at Cranston Country Club on Saturday and Sunday, April 18-19.

 

The Anchormen compiled a two-day score of 638 (322, 316) to equal Hussonís score in a tie for ninth place. Tufts won the invitational with a score of 610 (300, 310).

 

Cooper shot a 152 (76, 76) to finish in a tie for ninth. Senior Patrick Ford (Halifax, MA) finished in a tie for 25th with a score of 157 (80, 77).

Junior Pete Camerlengo (Pembroke, MA) tied for 50th with a score of 163 (80, 83). Junior John Roderick (Hope, RI) tied for 72nd with a score of 166 (86, 80).

 

Senior Ryan Butler (Windham, NH) finished in a tie for 89th place with a score of 175 (90, 85).

 

In upcoming action, Rhode Island College will compete at the Elms Invitational on Wednesday, April 22.
