VIGEANT SCORES THREE TIMES IN, 16-10,
LOSS TO FRAMINGHAM STATE

Providence, R.I.-Rhode Island College freshman second baseman Shaun Vigeant (Coventry, RI) went 2-for-4 with three runs scored and an RBI as the RIC baseball team dropped a 16-10 non-conference tilt against Framingham State played at Anchorman Field on Thursday afternoon.

The two teams traded runs in the second inning to make the score 6-3 after two frames. The Rams cut the deficit down to one in the third with a pair of RBI singles before taking control of the contest in the fourth inning. With a three runs already scored in the inning, senior designated hitter Kevin Driscoll (Chelmsford, MA) blasted a two-out, two-run homer to give the visitors a 10-6 advantage through four innings.
