THIRTEEN FROM RIC NAMED TO LITTLE EAST CONFERENCE SPRING ALL-ACADEMIC TEAM

Providence, R.I.-Thirteen Rhode Island College student-athletes were named to the 2015 Little East Conference Spring All-Academic Team as announced by the league office today.

 

Student-athletes earned recognition on the all-academic teams based on the following criteria: at least a sophomore in academic and athletic standing and a minimum cumulative grade point average of a 3.3.

 

The conference office honored student-athletes in the following sports: Baseball, Softball, Menís and Womenís Lacrosse, Menís and Womenís Outdoor Track & Field and Menís Tennis. The following student-athletes were recognized:

 

 

 Sophomore Lauren Deguire

 

WOMEN'S LACROSSE: Sophomore Molly Colannino (Providence, RI), Sophomore Betsy Heidel (Warwick, RI), Senior Jessica Ricci (Warwick, RI), Sophomore Sara Stone (Wakefield, RI).

 

SOFTBALL: Junior Tori Lussier (North Franklin, CT), sophomore Sarah Molin (Seymour, CT).

 

MENíS TENNIS: Junior Corey Duquette (Warwick, RI) and Sophomore Brett Taggart (North Kingstown, RI).

 

MENíS OUTDOOR TRACK & FIELD: Junior Christian Colavecchio (Foster, RI) and Junior Edward Cummins (Lincoln, RI).

 

WOMENíS OUTDOOR TRACK & FIELD: Sophomore Abigail Dandurand (Hope Valley, RI), Sophomore Lauren Deguire (Blackstone, MA) and Sophomore Sandra Semedo (Providence, RI).
