COLE PICKS UP OVERTIME WIN AS ANCHORMEN ROLE PAST GOLDEN BEARS, 27-15

Providence, R.I.-Junior Ricondo Cole (Cranston, RI) opened the night with an 8-6 overtime victory and freshman Brennen Liebel (Feeding Hills, MA) sealed the victory with a 3-1 decision as the Rhode Island College wrestling team topped New England Wrestling Association (NEWA) foe Western New England, 27-15, in front of a sellout crowd at the Recreation Center on Friday night.

RICís (3-1) Cole, ranked third at 141 lbs. in New England, opened the night trying to avenge an early season loss to WNE (2-2) freshman Greg McCrystal (Edison, NJ), who was ranked second.
