Ithaca, N.Y.-Freshman Courtney Osborn (Pomfret, CT) placed fifth in the all-around with a score of 32.975 to lead the Rhode Island College women's gymnastics team at the Harriet Marranca Invitational, hosted by Ithaca on Sunday afternoon.


The Anchorwomen placed fourth (four teams) with a score of 169.600. Brockport State won the meet with a team score of 187.150. Springfield (184.550) and Ithaca (181.050) rounded out the field in second and third, respectively.


Osborn placed 14th on bars (9.000) and 16th on beam (8.550), while also scoring on floor (7.775) and vault (7.650).


Brockport junior Lily Jagodzinski (Tonawanda, NY) recorded the highest score of the day with a 9.750 on floor. She also tied for first on beam with a 9.500 to lead Brockport to the victory. The Golden Eagles earned at least a tie for the top spot in all events except the all-around.

RIC freshman Corrine Paul (North Easton, MA) placed first on the team and 15th overall with a 9.175 on vault. She also competed on bars (7.650).


Junior Emma Hartan (Hebron, CT) competed on floor (9.100), vault (8.500) and beam (8.375). Freshman Erin Shea (Braintree, MA) competed on vault (9.050), beam (8.550) and floor (8.650).


In upcoming action, Rhode Island College will host Ithaca for a dual meet on Saturday, Feb. 21 (1 p.m.).
