JEAN-JACQUES REACHES SEMIFINALS AT NCAA WRESTLING CHAMPIONSHIPS
Sophomore Knocks Off Top Seed to Earn All-American Status

Hershey, Pa.-Eighth-seeded Rhode Island College sophomore 285 lbs. Terrance Jean-Jacques (Haverhill, MA) went 2-0, which included a victory over the No. 1 seed, to advance to the semifinals of his weight class at the 2015 NCAA Div. III Wrestling Championships on Friday.

 

 

 

Jean-Jacques opened with a major decision, 9-1, over unseeded Cole Tristram from Brockport State. He followed that with an impressive, 13-2, major decision over top-seeded Cody Lovejoy from Ohio Northern to reach the semifinals.

 

The win assured Jean-Jacques of All-American status. He will resume action and face fourth-seeded Benjamin Nagle from Wartburg on Saturday morning.
