Wenham, Mass.--Junior Lauren Deguire (Blackstone, MA) finished 14th (129 runners) with a time of 20:33.0 to pace the Rhode Island College women’s cross country team at the 2015 Pop Crowell Invitational hosted by Gordon on Saturday morning.


The Anchorwomen finished fourth (12 teams) with a score of 110. The University of New England won the meet with a score of 18.


Sophomore Briana Lenihan (Saunderstown, RI) placed 19th with a time of 20:45.0. Freshman Laura Paiva (Coventry, RI) placed 31st with a time of 21:30.0.


Freshman Veronica Northup (Hope, RI) placed 40th with a time of 21:13.0. Junior Allison Lomas (Saunderstown, RI) placed 50th with a time of 22:15.0.

Sophomore Ashley Bricault (Cumberland, RI) placed 52nd with a time of 22:25.0. Junior Abigail Dandurand (Hope Valley, RI) placed 64th with a time of 23:27.0.


Junior Jessica Trautman (Narragansett, RI) finished 100th with a time of 26:35.0. Freshman Margaret Buckley (Norwich, CT) placed 103rd with a time of 27:11.0.


Sophomore Tess Rhoat (Wakefield, RI) placed 106th in a time of 27:19.0. Freshman Heather Kolaski (Barrington, RI) placed 112th in a time of 28:05.0.


In upcoming action, Rhode Island College will compete at the Westfield State Invitational on Saturday, Oct. 10.
