DAYNA REILLY NAMED LITTLE EAST
WOMEN’S TENNIS PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Providence, R.I.-Rhode Island College sophomore Dayna Reilly (Swansea, MA) was named the Little East Conference Women’s Tennis Player of the Week for her performance in a 2-1 week for the Anchorwomen. It is the third time this season she has received this honor.

 

Reilly went 2-0 at No. 1 singles and 2-1 at No. 2 doubles as RIC captured the 2015 Little East Conference Regular Season Championship with wins over Bridgewater State, 5-4, on Oct. 16 and Salem State, 9-0, on Oct. 17.

 

 

 

For the season, she is 9-4 at No. 1 singles and 9-3 at No. 1 doubles.

 

Head Coach Adam Spring’s team is currently 12-2 overall and 8-0 in the Little East Conference.

 

In upcoming action, top-seeded Rhode Island College will face the winner of fifth-seeded UMass Boston and fourth-seeded UMass Dartmouth in the semifinal of the 2015 Little East Conference Women’s Tennis Championship on Thursday, Oct. 22.
