WOMEN’S CROSS COUNTRY FINISHES SIXTH
AT LITTLE EAST CHAMPIONSHIPS

Keene, N.H.-Rhode Island College junior Lauren Deguire (Blackstone, MA) finished in 29th place (87 runners) in a time of 21:15.2 to lead the Rhode Island College women’s cross country team at the 2015 Little East Championships hosted by Keene State College on Saturday afternoon.

 

The Anchorwomen finished in sixth place (seven teams) with a score of 144. Keene State won the race with a score of 15.

 

Freshman Veronica Northup (Hope, RI) finished 32nd (21:24.7). Freshman Lauren Paiva (Coventry, RI) finished 34th (21:27.8).

Sophomore Briana Lenihan (Saunderstown, RI) finished 41st (21:52.8). Junior Allison Lomas (Saunderstown, RI) finished 50th (22:25.1).

 

Sophomore Ashley Bricault (Cumberland, RI) finished 65th (23:33.2). Junior Abigail Dandurand (Hope Valley, RI) finished 67th (23:44.5).

 

Junior Jessica Trautman (Narragansett, RI) finished 80th (26:35.4). Freshman Margaret Buckley (Norwich, CT) finished 83rd (27:42.0).

 

Sophomore Tess Rhoat (Wakefield, RI) finished 84th (27:43.5). Freshman Heather Kolaski (Barrington, RI) finished 86th (31:46.8).

 

In upcoming action, Rhode Island College will compete at the 2015 N.E. Div. III Championships, hosted by Connecticut College on Saturday, Nov. 14.
