RHODE ISLAND COLLEGE EQUESTRIAN AT BECKER

Providence, R.I.--RIC Equestrian rode successfully, despite the rain and cold temperatures. The day started off phenomenally with Sydney Bent riding our favorite Becker College pony, Clay, for a first place ribbon in her first class of the day, Novice Over-Fences.

RIC EQ followed Sydney’s stellar start by dominating the Novice Flat classes. Sydney Bent and Machele Harris both earned second place ribbons in their respective Novice Flat classes: Sydney aboard Paddy and Machele on crowd favorite, Clay.

Gabriella Cataldo earned a fourth place ribbon for RIC riding a thoroughbred named Dillon in her Advanced Walk Trot Canter class. The day ended with Katherine Haley also earning a fourth place ribbon in her Walk Trot class aboard Janie. Despite the torrential downpours and near-freezing temperatures, the day went swimmingly, and Rhode Island College left Becker College Equestrian Center taking home an eighth place ribbon.
