CILLEY TIES FOR THIRD AS MENíS GOLF
COMPETES AT HAMPTON INN INVITATIONAL

Providence- R.I.-The Rhode Island College menís golf team finished fifth at the UMass Dartmouth Hampton Inn Invitational, held at the Allendale Country Club on Friday and Saturday. RIC finished with a team score of 646 (316, 330), while Tufts took home the team title with a two-round score of 620 (301, 310) at the 18-team event.

 

Junior Austin Cilley (Westerly, RI) finished tied for third place with a 156 (81, 75). Sophomore Mike Carparco (Johnston, RI) was tied for 16th with a 160 (76, 84).

Sophomore Tom Sheran (Marston Mills, MA) notched a tie for 30th place with a 164 (81, 83). Senior John Roderick (Hope, RI) tied for 36th place with a 166 (78, 88). Senior Steve Letterle (Cranston, RI) rounded out the Anchormen golfers, finishing the tournament in a tie for 67th with a 176 (88, 88).
