CILLEY LEADS ANCHORMEN TO FOURTH PLACE FINISH AT WILDCAT INVITATIONAL

Cranston, R.I.óJunior Austin Cilley (Westerly, RI) tied for seventh with a score of 154 (76, 78) to lead the Rhode Island College menís golf team to a fourth place finish (17 teams) at the 2017 Johnson & Wales Wildcat Spring Invitational, played at Cranston Country Club on April 22-23.

 

Rhode Island College totaled a team score of 627 (312, 315). Western New England won the event with a score of 612 (309, 303), while Babson (619; 310, 309) and Tufts (622 (315, 307) finished ahead of the Anchormen.

Junior Josh Macera (Cranston, RI) tied for 13th with a score of 157 (76, 81). Freshman Nathan Patterson (Conway, MA) tied for 33rd with a score of 160 (82, 78).

 

Senior John Roderick (Hope, RI) finished tied for 35th with a score  of 161 (83, 78). Senior Steven Letterle (Cranston, RI) placed 37th with a score of 162 (78, 84).

 

In upcoming action, Rhode Island College will compete at the Elms Blazer Invitational on Monday, April 24.
