ANCHORWOMEN FINISH THIRD AT
CORTLAND TRI-MEET

Cortland, N.Y.-The Rhode Island College women’s gymnastics team placed third at the Cortland State Tri-Match on Sunday afternoon. The Anchorwomen finished with 175.025 points with Cortland State taking first with a score of 188.200. Springfield took second with a score of 187.000.

 

Sophomore Kyndel Yett (Carrollton, GA) notched a fifth place finish on vault (9.450). Yett also placed 17th on bars (7.100).

 

Sophomore Allie DiBiase (North Kingstown) finished in third place in the all-around (36.275). DiBiase registered a tie for seventh on beam (9.325) and a tie for 10th on vault (9.350).

 

 

 Freshman Grace Davis

 

Freshman Grace Davis (Royersford, PA) notched a tie for seventh place on beam (9.325). Junior Erin Shea (Braintree, MA) had a 13th place finish on vault (9.250) and was 15th on floor (8.00).

 

In upcoming action, Rhode Island College will travel to Brown for a quad-match with Southern Connecticut and URI (club) on Sunday, Feb. 12.
