DIBIASE & MURPHY WRAP UP SEASON AT
NCGA NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS

Menomonie, WI-Rhode Island College sophomores Allie DiBiase (North Kingstown, RI) and Miranda Murphy (Lansdale, PA) competed at the 2017 National Collegiate Gymnastics Association (NCGA) National Championships, hosted by Wisconsin-Stout on Friday evening.

 

 The duo qualified as all-around specialists from the East Region and competed during the team and all-around portion of the championships this evening. The individual championships on each event will be held on April 1. There were 42 competitors on each individual event and 15 all-around national qualifiers.

 

DiBiase finished 14th in the all-around with a score of 35.150. She finished tied for 40th on vault (8.775), tied for 37th on bars (8.700), was 39th on beam (8.450) and tied for 32nd on floor (9.225).

 Murphy finished 15th in the all-around with a score of 34.350. She finished 42nd on vault (8.750), tied for 40th on bars (8.450), was 37th on beam (8.550) and tied for 40th on floor (8.600).

 Head Coach Bob Nannig's team concluded the team portion of their season with a sixth place finish at the NCGA East Regional on March 19. During the season, the Anchorwomen posted the program's highest-ever team score (182.950) during the five-score era.
