RHODE ISLAND COLLEGE NAMES BRIAN SUJECKI
ASSISTANT WOMEN’S SOCCER COACH

Providence, R.I.-Rhode Island College has named Brian Sujecki as an assistant women’s soccer coach. Sujecki will assist Head Coach Christina Pirri with all facets of the program, including recruiting, scouting, administering practice and game coaching.

 

“I am very thankful for this opportunity,” Sujecki said. “I am excited to be back at RIC and will give my best to bring success to the women’s soccer program on and off the pitch.”

 

 

 

The Pawcatuck, Conn. native wrapped up his RIC men’s soccer career in 2014 having appeared in 40 games, starting 14 of them. He recorded three goals and five assists for 11 points in his career.

 

As a senior in 2014, he played in 18 games, starting eight of them. He notched one goal and one assist for three points. Sujecki tallied one goal and an assist in the season-opening, 9-0, victory over Wheelock on Aug. 30.

 

As a junior in 2013, Sujecki played in eight games. He tallied one goal and two assists for four points. Sujecki dished out a crucial assist in RIC’s, 3-2, win over UMass Boston in the regular season finale on Nov. 2.

 

 

 

As a sophomore in 2012, he played in 14 games, starting six of them. Sujecki finished the season with one goal and two assists for four points. He tallied his first career goal in a 2-1 overtime loss at Framingham State on Sept. 25 and notched his first career assist in a 6-1 loss vs. Roger Williams on Sept. 8.

 

As a freshman in 2010, he played at Endicott College.

 

Sujecki graduated from Rhode Island College in 2016 with a degree in community health and wellness.
