LATE GOAL PROPELS RAMS PAST RIC, 2-1

Suffolk (1-0) got on the board first when senior forward Alexandra Nagri (Salem, NH) started a breakaway down the right side of the field and slipped a shot into the corner of the net in the 31st minute. The visiting Rams took a 1-0 lead into halftime despite RIC (0-2) holding an 8-5 advantage in shots for the stanza.
