MEN'S SOCCER SET TO BATTLE UMASS BOSTON IN LITTLE EAST CONFERENCE TOURNEY SEMIFINALS

Providence, R.I.--No. 2-seeded Rhode Island College will host No. 3-seeded UMass Boston in the semifinals of the 2017 Little East Conference Men's Soccer Championship at Alumni Field on Wednesday, Nov. 1 (6 p.m.).

 

The winner will face the winner of No. 4-seeded Keene State vs. No. 1-seeded Western Connecticut in the finals on Saturday, Nov. 4 (TBA).

 Rhode Island College has faced UMass Boston in the Little East Championship in each of the past three seasons, with the Beacons winning each matchup.

 

Head Coach John Mello's team finished the regular season with an 8-7-2 overall record and a 5-2 mark in the Little East Conference. RIC share the 2017 Little East Conference Regular Season Championship with Western Connecticut.
