ANCHORMEN WRAP UP SEASON
AT N.E. DIV. III CHAMPIONSHIPS

Gorham, Maine--Freshman Raffaelo Manzo (Slatersville, RI) finished in 190th place finish (29:06.2) to lead the Rhode Island College menís cross country team to a 45th place finish (55 teams) at the 2017 N.E. Div. III Championship, hosted by Southern Maine on Saturday. 

 

THE BASICS 

The Anchormen finished with 1,352 points, while MIT took home the team title with 81 points on the afternoon. 

 

There were a total of 55 teams and 370 runners competing at the event.

HOW IT HAPPENED 

Sophomore Jephte Wagnac (Providence, RI) registered224th place finish (29:43.9) for the Anchormen.

 

Junior Mohammed Chaghlil (Warwick, RI) finished in 311th place (33:02.8), while freshman Stanley Guillaume (Boston, MA) clocked a time of 33:20.0, which was good for 322nd place. 

 

Freshman Dylan Brobisky (West Warwick, RI) recorded an 339th place finish with a time of 35:02.9.

 

Junior Jeff Garson (Cumberland, RI) finished in 346th place (36:15.3) for the Anchormen. 

 

BY THE NUMBERS
RIC had a total team time of 2:40.25 over the 8K course.
