RHODE ISLAND COLLEGE PLACES 11
ON LITTLE EAST FALL ALL-ACADEMIC TEAM

Providence, R.I.- Eleven Rhode Island College student-athletes were named to the 2017 Little East Conference Fall All-Academic team for their respective performances in the classroom this year.

 

Student-athletes earned recognition on the all-academic teams based on the following criteria: at least a sophomore in academic and athletic standing and a minimum cumulative grade point average of a 3.3. The conference office honored student-athletes in the following sports: menís & womenís cross country, field hockey, menís & womenís soccer, womenís tennis and womenís volleyball.

 

WOMENíS CROSS COUNTRY: Junior Maggie Buckley (Norwich, CT), sophomore Analise England (Smithfield, RI), junior Margaret McCaffrey (East Greenwich, RI).

 

MENíS SOCCER: Senior Cooper Ferreira (Westerly, RI).

 

WOMENíS SOCCER: Sophomore Breanne Ford (Schenectady, NY), senior Stephanie Ricci (Smithfield, RI).

 

WOMENíS TENNIS: Senior Laura Nastasi (Smithville, NJ), senior Dayna Reilly (Swansea, MA), senior Isabella Romeo (Greenville, RI).

 

WOMENíS VOLLEYBALL: Sophomore Jacqueline Jutras (Foster, RI), senior Courtney Lambrese (Cranston, RI).
