James Heady Named to Hartwick
Holiday Classic All-Tournament Team


Providence, RI—Rhode Island College junior guard James Heady (Bridgeport, CT) was named to the Hartwick College Holiday Classic’s All-Tournament Team.


Heady scored ten points with two rebounds, two assists and one steal in the Anchormen’s 91-75 loss to Western New England in the opening game on Nov. 16. He chipped in with ten points, seven boards, three assists, one steal and a block in RIC’s loss to Hartwick 76-71 in the consolation game.


He has played in two games, starting both of them. He is averaging 10.0 points, 4.5 rebounds, 2.5 assists, 1.0 steals and 0.5 blocks per game.


Heady is a physical education major and a 1999 graduate of Fairfield High School.


The Anchormen are 0-2 overall and have yet to see action in the Little East Conference. RIC will host Salve Regina University this evening at 7:30 p.m.
