Rhode Island College and Rhode Island Baseball Academy to host Annual Hitting Clinic


Providence, RIóRhode Island College, in conjunction with the Rhode Island Baseball Academy, will host its annual hitting clinic at RICís Recreation Center. There are two sessions: Session I is on Friday and Saturday, Mar. 22-23. Session II is on Friday and Sunday, Mar. 29-30.


Under the direction of RIC Head Baseball Coach and R.I.B.A. Camp Director Jay Grenier, instruction will include: grip, stance, bat selection, hips, head, shoulders, arms, weight distribution, strike and more. In addition, each camper will be videotaped.


Instructors include: Brad Bustin, Rhode Island College Assistant Coach, Marc Pantazis, Rhode Island College Assistant Coach, Shifty Shea, R.I.B.A. Hitting Coordinator, Tom McDermott, Dartmouth High School Head Baseball Coach, John Pacheco, Diman Voke Head Baseball Coach, and Dave Driscoll, Bay State Baseball Camp and R.I.B.A. Hitting Instructor.
