Andrew Coughlin Named
Coordinator of  Athletic and Recreational Facilities at RIC


Providence, RI--The Rhode Island College Department of Intercollegiate Athletics, Intramurals and Recreation named Andrew Coughlin Coordinator of Athletic and Recreational Facilities.


Coughlin will be responsible for the quality assurance of RIC’s athletic and recreational facilities, as well as coordinating game management. He was previously the Coordinator of Facilities and Intramurals at RIC, a position he held since November of 2000. Prior to that assignment, he was a part-time facilities supervisor at RIC from 1996 until November of 2000.


Coughlin earned a bachelor’s degree in community health from RIC in 1996. He was a four-year letterwinner in both cross country and track and field while an undergraduate. He received the John E. Hetherman Award, signifying him as RIC’s top male senior athlete, in 1996.


He is a 1991 graduate of North Providence High School. He earned four varsity letters in cross country for the Cougars.


He is single and resides in North Providence, Rhode Island.
