Junior goalkeeper Melissa Carpentier (Woonsocket, RI) made eight saves.

The win was sweet revenge for the Anchorwomen, who lost a tough game, 1-0, to PSU in the regular season finale on last Saturday, Nov. 1. The Anchorwomen won their first-ever post-season victory by beating, ironically Plymouth State, in double overtime during the 2002 tourney.
