COLAGIOVANNI'S SCORES GAME-WINNER IN DOUBLE OT

Providence, RI--Rhode Island College sophomore Crystal
Colagiovanni (Johnston, RI) netted the game-winning goal with 1:50
left in sudden death double overtime to lead the Anchorwomen
past Lasell College, 11-10, in collegiate women's lacrosse action.

Head Coach
Ryan Angel's troops trailed the Lasers by four, 9-5, with 17:47
left in the game before rallying to score four unanswered goals to
force the extra sessions. Both clubs traded goals in the first
and second overtime periods before Colagiovanni scored. |

|
RIC
freshman center Caitlin Gavin (Portsmouth, RI) scored five
times, as senior Rachel Pecoraro (Smithfield, RI) and
Colagiovanni each netted two. Senior Erin Grant (Coventry, RI)
and freshman Shana Griffin (Barre, VT) rounded out the club's
offensive output. Junior Danielle Beaudry (West Greenwich, RI)
notched to assists, including one on the GWG. Freshman goalie
Michaela Morris (Barrington, RI) made 15 saves to earn the win. |

For Lasell,
sophomores Mandi Rapisardi (Scarborough, ME) and Meg Coleman
(Weymouth, MA) had six and four goals respectively. |

In upcoming action, RIC will host
Worcester State on Saturday, Mar. 27 at 1 p.m. |
