Providence, RIóRhode Island College sophomore center Caitlin Gavin (Portsmouth, RI) was named First Team All-Little East Conference. Gavin also earned this honor as a freshman in 2004.

She established a new RIC record for assists in a game with four helpers vs. Castleton on Apr. 10 and with 12 points and 14 draw controls vs. St. Joseph on Apr. 28. Her 11 ground balls vs. Elms on Apr. 19 was a new RIC record for a game.

Gavin is currently RICís all-time leader in career goals, points, ground balls, draw controls and shots.

Head Coach Ryan Angelís team was 8-7 overall and were 0-6 in the Little East. RIC was selected to compete at the 2005 Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) N.E. Div.
